The National Museum of Patriotism located in Atlanta, Georgia, the only

museum of its kind in America and the leading authority on America's Patriotism,

announced their plans to move into it's new phase of

business. The museum will now be called THE NATIONAL FOUNDATION OF

PATRIOTISM (NFOP) a non profit 501c3 organization. The National Foundation of

Patriotism will continue the work that the museum has successfully fulfilled for the past 6

years of honoring America.  Mr. Nick Snider the Founder and C.E.O. of the Museum said

"As a result of the current economic downturn, the museum needed a change.  It became

apparent that we need a new 21st century technology plan to continue the mission."

Executive Director Pat Stansbury said "The National Museum of Patriotism had to

answer the call of the new economy to find a new way of doing business.

"We have changed our name and will keep its status as a non profit organization.  This

change will allow us to have a bigger impact on America's patriotism and become

extremely relevant on the national scene, helping those organizations and individuals on a

local, regional and national level who have America's best interest at heart."

The National Foundation of Patriotism, will become a virtual museum online.  Affording

the mission a broader reach, deeper impact and higher visibility than could ever be

attained by one building in one city.  Social media will be one of the engine's that drives

the mission to success. The National Foundation of Patriotism will continue to be the

leading authority on America's Patriotism.

Founder Nick Snider says, "We will continue our mission of Building a Better America

by a complete restructure of our approach to serve our fellow citizens.  We will offer an

array of services through our website www.museumofpatriotism.org.  Our continued

support to our fellow Americans will allow us to reach a much broader audience and our

resources will not be limited by a physical structure with limited hours to serve the

American public. Although the interaction with our visitors and hearing their personal

histories will be deeply missed, we will be in a better position to receive their concerns

for, and expressions of love for America via our website.  The continued loyalty of our

thousands of followers will only increase as we develop new ways to Build a Better

America. With a virtual museum, it will allow us to strengthen our mission and grow

support for a place all Americans can embrace their own unique concept of patriotism.

The National Foundation of Patriotism will continue to be level ground for all Americans

and ask the question What Is Patriotism? Allowing each individual to answer for

themselves.

Supporters will still be able to donate to the Foundations efforts through the website.

The National Foundation of Patriotism will also be very involved in what is going on in

America's Patriotism  in all areas, including the ever changing political landscape.

The National Foundation of Patriotism (NFOP) will continue to raise money to better

America, which will go to help promote America's patriotism.  In the past, the museum

helped a young man who is trying to get 9/11 recognized as a National Holiday.  It was

the museum, now the National Foundation of Patriotism that launched this young mans

efforts, sending him to Washington D.C. to meet with Senators, which got the attention of

Sarah Palin who called to personally congratulate him on his efforts.  In addition, the

museum honored a young girl who created a freedom walk in Atlanta, GA which honors

our military, and is now a yearly event.  The NFOP will also help celebrities in their

efforts for a better America. Stars such as Lee Greenwood, Patti LaBelle support the

foundations efforts and The National Foundation of Patriotism will host the

Congressional Medal of Honor Luncheon in 2011 as it did in 2008.

The Highest award the National Foundation Of Patriotism will bestow is the

PATRIOTISM AWARD which is now being talked about as an annual televised award

show, honoring those from all walks of life from politicians, celebrities, corporate

executives and the average citizen  who have done acts of Patriotism to make this country

a better place and help America stay America.
